重庆若瑟堂探析

若瑟堂是重庆市至今保存最完好、最古老的天主教堂。虽然其外观及内部空间都极为简洁朴素,很少装饰,但其平面形制、建筑构图元素和形体比例仍体现出成熟的哥特建筑的典型特征,并与重庆的地形条件和地方建筑环境相融合,因而在重庆建筑历史遗产中应占有一定的地位。本文通过对重庆若瑟堂的考察研究和分析,指出其作为宗教建筑的历史文化价值和建筑艺术特色。

Research on Church Joseph of Chongqing

Churc h Joseph is the most old and well-maintained papist church in Chongqing.Though simple in exterior and in interior design and decoration,the building still represents mature gothic architectural style in compositional motive and proportion.The church is also in harmony with the landform and architectural environment in Chongqing.Based on the above,Church Joseph should be considered a significant piece of architectural historical heritage.Through some research work and analysis,the article indicates its historical cultural value and characteristic of architectural art.
