Abstract:For the purpose of practical applications in traffic engineering, espeCially in automatic contlol traffic system, this paper presents a numerical model for dynamic simulation of traffic flow, involving difference schemes, boundary conditions and their discrete forms, the expressions of traffic behavior parameters and a technique of modelling parameter identification.The analysis of the numerical modelling for several realistic examples shows the usefulness and advantages of our model.
