摘    要:以ZnSO4·7H2O和NaOH为原料,用直接沉淀法制备了纳米ZnO,并用硅酸钠水解生成的SiO2对其进行了表面包覆改性。采用IR、HRTEM、XRD、SEM、XPS手段对改性前后的ZnO进行了表征。结果表明:改性后ZnO颗粒的表面形成了Si-O-Zn键,亦即SiO2在ZnO纳米颗粒表面形成了包覆层。光催化降解甲基橙溶液表明,改性后ZnO粉体的光催化活性明显下降,进一步证明了纳米ZnO颗粒表面存在SiO2包覆层,使纳米ZnO稳定化。

Abstract:ZnO nanoparticles were prepared from ZnSO4·7H2O and NaOH by precipitation method, and the their surfaces were coated by SiO2, which is obtained by the hydrolysis of Na2SiO3. Both the coated and uncoated ZnO nanoparticles were characterized by IR, TEM, XRD, SEM and XPS. The results showed that the interfacial bonds are formed between ZnO and SiO2, i. e. the SiO2 has been coated on the ZnO nanoparticles. In addition, the photodegradation of methyl orange in aq. solution was investigated by using ZnO nanoparticles and ZnO/SiO2 nanoparticls as photocatalyst respectively. The results showed that the ZnO nanoparticles have better photocatalytic performance than that of ZnO/SiO2 nanoparticles, which further illustrated that SiO2 has been coated on the surface of ZnO nanoparticlesto stablize it.
