| Abstract: | Photocatalytic process is one of the current technologies with high efficiency and economizing energy for the removal of pollutant from water.Based on the findings reported in literature,including photocatalytic methods,the mechanisms of photocatalytic process,the present status of photocatalytic destruction of all pollutants from water,the approaches to improve activity of semiconductor,and some problems still existing in the progress of photocatalytic technology,the present advance in research and development tendency of photocatalytic process is reviewed. |
