| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the problems in the former nitrogen-cooled water precooling system employed by the 6000m 3/h air separation plant and the causes leading to the problems.The water circulating system has been transformed from the original big circulation of water used in the oxygen producing station to the internal self-circulation of the nitrogen-cooled water precooling system only by adding a water heat exchanger and a reservoir.By doing so substantial effects have been obtained. |
