| Abstract: | A survey of the present situation of the study of the modified urea-formaldehyde resin is given, putting stress on the technological measures used to reduce the content of free formaldehyde and improve the water-resistance and aging-resistance of the modified urea-formaldehyde resin product.The modifying mechanism, characteristics , synthesis process and the prospects of the application of the modified urea-formaldehyde resin are summarized. |
