Abstract: | The crystal structure of intermetallic compound Gd6Cr4Al43 has been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction data (Ho6Mo4Al43 structure type, space group P63/mcm, Pearson symbol hP106, a = 10.9144(7) Å, c = 17.7361(13) Å). SQUID magnetic measurements carried out for the title compound point to the existence of two antiferromagnetic phase transitions observed at TN1 = 19.0(1) K and TN2 = 6.8(1) K, respectively. |
