高灰度视频OLED显示控制系统设计与应用

摘    要:在详细分析AFD公司OLED面板电气特性和各种OLED灰度扫描原理的基础上,对AM-OLED扫描驱动电路进行研究,采用FPGA作为核心控制器件,完成了高灰度OLED视频显示系统设计。系统主要包括DVI接口信号处理模块、内存管理模块和灰度扫描控制模块,其中成像核心模块采用子场扫描工作方式;解码后的DVI信号经过一系列处理,可实时地送到OLED屏上显示,且灰度等级256级和64级可选。视频OLED显示系统实现了240×RGB(H)×320(V)QVGA分辨率,256级灰度显示,帧扫描频率为60~100Hz。电源驱动板共有7个电源输出,可根据外部环境来分别进行调节OLED屏的亮度,以实现OLED高灰度视频显示。

Abstract:Based on the detailed analysis of AM-OLED panel electrical characteristics and various gray scale scanning methods,this paper presents the design method of high gray-scale video OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode Display) system.In the system FPGA is used as the core control device after the principle study to the AM-OLED scan and driving circuits.There are three main modules including the DVI data processing unit,the memory management module and the grayscale scanning control unit,and the subfield scanning method is applied in core imaging module.The DVI signal decoded can be displayed on the OLED panel real time(on line) via FPGA core controller,and also the gray scale is selectable,256 or 64 gray levels.The video display system is implemented on the 240×RGB(H)×320(V)QVGA OLED panel,256 gray levels,and up to 60 Hz ~100 Hz frame frequency.There are 7 outputs in the power drive,which can be used to adjust the light of the OLED panel to fit the external environment,and this all completed the high gray-scale video OLED system.
