| Abstract: | This paper has studied a new preprocessing algorithm for the recognition of the numeral characters on the lincense plate. Based on the feature of the stroke pixels, we handily have the strokes thinning. Then according to the character structure information,we build an control template. By judging whether a control point on the template has a function,we at last acquire graphic characters whose stroke width has only one pixel. Expected results have been observed through experiments. |
