| Abstract: | A brief introduction is given about the understanding and lessens learned from dam construction. An analysis is made on features of dam construction technology and current issues related to dam construction. Suggestions are made on promoting new technologies on the basis of discussing the relationship between application of new technology and technical standard and elaborating the importance of adaptation of new technologies in practice. |
