温州古城特色和历史街区保护刍议

温州古城特色主要体现在“山、水、城”的布局特色和以永嘉化为代表的商城特色上。温州古城历史街区保护的总体思路是：在保护古城格局的大前提下,重点围绕“东庙、南市、西居、北埠”的格局进行分片筛选,选定商业性历史街区、居住性历史街区、公其性历史街区各两个进行保护。

The characteristics of the ancient city ofWenzhou are reflected by its feature in arrange-ment of "mountains,water and the city" as well asby the characteristics of a shopping center withYongjia Culture as the representative.The main ideafor the preservation of the historic districts ofWenzhou is that with the preservation of the over-all arrangement of the ancient city,emphasis mustbe laid on the selection of preservation centeredaround the concept of "temples in the east,marketin the south,residence in the west and port in thenorth",choosing the commercial historic districts,residential historic districts and public historic dis-tricts tow for each for preservation.
