遏制腐败必须加强群众监督的权力

腐败是当今社会的毒瘤,公共权力的性质客观上决定了不受监督的权力必然导致腐败。在权力的监督中,群众的监督权力是衡量监督权力大小的一个重要尺度,而现实生活中人民群众的监督权并没有得到有效的行使,根本原因就在于群众的监督是缺乏权力的监督。没有知情权、人身安全权、批评权等作保证的监督权是不可能起到应有的监督作用的。
