| Abstract: | The sources of chlorines in catalytic reforming and its compositions in different units were analyzed. The impact of chlorines on catalytic reforming was discussed, including chorines corrosion and blocking of equipment and pipelines and negative impact on catalyst performances. The measures for control of chlorine corrosion and importance of adjusting reforming water and chlorine balance were described. |
