Abstract: | An analytical study is presented for the study of dipleg flow stability using a controlled non-mechanical valve. Control is achieved by the balancing of pressures and flows by use of aeration to the dipleg flow. An example is presented using fine catalyst particles. Changes in load of solids and desired height of solids in the dipleg are considered with various controllers. The responses of all cases studied in this simplified analysis are found to be stable. |
