| Abstract: | The paper summarized the defect of the basic flux pot, which are generated during manufacturing or service. The pot is made of Nickel-steel composite. The character and causes of the defects are analyzed. Some successful repairs to the welding crack in nickel layer and caustic embrittlement crack in basic steel as well as other structure defects were accomplished by welding.$$$$ |
