| Abstract: | Fabrication of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy composites from the matrix resins diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) and tetraglycidyl bis(aminotolyl) cyclohexane (TGBATC) using 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl methane (DDM) as curing agent. The composites were evaluated for their physical and mechanical properties. A significant improvement in the properties was observed on addition of 20 phr of an epoxy fortifier. |
