| Abstract: | Poly(vinyl chloride) is widely used in biomedical devices. This review deals with various applications of PVC and modified PVC in the medical field. Blended, grafted, and plasma-treated modified PVCs are described for various medical applications. Plasma treatment of PVC devices is a versatile and useful method for changing the surface properties, as compared to blending and grafting. |
