本文介绍ＰＨ０５５１程序的分析功能演变过程。结合我国国情及应用，作者对原程序做了多处改进，增补新的程序模块．提高了程序的可读性和可修改性；改进了计算框图，节省计算机机时近一倍；增补了陀螺效应及温度的影响；增补弹性、阻尼支撑临界转速的计算功能；指明原程序中某些特殊限制，扩大了程序的适用范围；提供方便灵活符合我国机械制造业现状的输入／输出形式。本文对上述改进及应用，结合算例做了较详细说明。

WE' program PH0551 (Analysis of Rotor-bearing System Response) and Improvement

The paper presented the analysis functions and evolving process of WE' program PH0551 and its' improvements made by author in detail. The features of improved progranl were as follows: (1) the readability and modifiability were improved by adding subroutine modules ; (2) the computing time was saved two times by improving computer block diagrams ; (3) the gytoscopic effect and temperature influence were added ; (4) the calculating function of critical speed supported by elasticity and damping were added; (5) the applicable scope was expanded and the provided I/O mode was simple and flexible tally with the present status of our machine building.
