Tropical architecture - a case study

In this Paris '89 paper Winston Suite, a senior lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of the West Indies, recommends design modifications to minimise the undesirable aspects of thermal comfort and deals with artificial vs natural lighting. Dr Suite has experience as an engineer and contractor and interestingly highlights the need to rediscover decoration as an important cultural expression.
