遥远的小山村 赵中说他从每次从兰州到茶园村的乘车路线几乎是固定的:乘下午16点40分的火车,火车先从兰州到天水,天水到宝鸡,进入陕西省,再往回走,最后于次日上午9点到达四川广元.从地图上看是几个Z字型.甘肃陇南和四川广元相距不远.赵中再从广元买上一张长途汽车票,四五个小时北上后到达终点——地名叫"渭沟河口"的地方.从这辗转1个多小时的步行路程,才进到深藏于绵亘大山中的"茶园村".她很美,但是如果每一两个月都跑这么一趟,恐怕连听那首赞美小山村的歌你都会发疯.

Director of Green Camel Bell Center for Environmental Development,Zhao Zhong has sought to ameliorate rural poverty in environmentally sustainable ways.In 2004, he established the GCB website,which provided a platform for organizing volunteers for environmental protection.Three years later,he quit his job at the National Institute for Contemporary Physics Research to become the full time Director of the Center.In 2008,after the Sichuan earthquake destroyed much housing in southern Gansu Province,Zhao Zhong and GCB volunteers went to Chayuan Village with the hope of introducing straw bricks,a sustainable technology for rebuilding village architecture.The village government rejected the idea of straw bricks,arguing that if urban residents had concrete homes,why couldn’t rural people?Zhao Zhong’s chance came,however,with the reconstruction of the Chayuan Elementary School, where in addition to building an environmentally sustainable building,GCB helped villagers establish a Board of Directors that independently manages the school.
