摘    要:汉字识别属于大类别模式识别问题,用并行算法可望提高在单机环境下识别离线手写汉字图象的运行速度,提出了一种汉字识别算法的并行设计方案,并针对它在PVM环境下运行结果进行了性能分析。

Abstract:Because Chinese Character discrimination is a recognizing Ptoblem of large number of pattern classes,in order to improve theOLCCR's(Off Line Chinese Character Recognize) speed running on the stand-alone computer, PA(Parallel Algorithm) should be used insteadof SA(Serial Algorithm). Thus,an efficacious parallel algorithm on Chinese Character recognizing was put forward and its performance in theenvironment of PVM was dissertated in this paper.
