摘    要:传感器由磁化器、激励线圈、接收线圈和聚磁器等组成.实验结果表明,利用周向超声导波传感器可以在大直径管道中激励和接收周向超声导波并可对管道中的缺陷进行长范围、全覆盖的非接触无损检测.

Abstract:In order to assess the structural integrity and the service life of industrial pipes and offshore platforms, a novel magnetostrictive-based ultrasonic transducer was developed to detect and locate defects in industrial pipes and offshore platforms. The transducer consists of magnet, transmitting coil, receiving coil and magnetic concentrator. The transducer was designed for the generation and detection of circumferential guided waves electromagnetically in the material under testing. The results show that circumferential guided waves can be generated by magnetostrictive-based ultrasonic transducer and can be used to inspect defects in relatively large-diameter pipes with the characteristics of long-rang, 100-percent volumetric inspection and no couplant required.
