| Abstract: | This paper discusses the method of direct computation of the thickness of soil replacement cushion layer for strip and rectangular fooing foundations. It establishes the direct computation equation of force equilibrium. It can conduct the direct computation for the thickness of soil teplacement cushion layer without trial calculation. |
