The New Thoughts of Reconstruction Coming from the New Building of Danish Royal Library

Architecture as the essential vehicle of the culture of human being acts as an role of carrying and creating. With the rapid economical increase at the present time, the old buildings which characterize past-time characteristic culture and feature of the city are changed beyond recognition by demolition and remaking. Therefore, on one hand, we must reinforce the old buildings, on the other hand, we should focus on the spiritual pursue of the historical aspects of these old buildings. This article introduces the new building of The Danish Royal Library designed by a Danish architecture office-Schmidt, Hammer & Lassen (SHL). According to this research and analysis, we pay more attention to the conversion and reconstruction process in current Europe.
