| Abstract: | In this paper,dry process of preparing cationic starch is reviewed.The advantages of the dry process for producing cationic starch are explained and compared with the slurry process.The effects of catalyst,reaction time, reaction temperature and amount of cationization reagent on reaction efficiency and the degree of substitution are discussed emphatically. |
