Abstract:The inertial measurement unit (IMU) is a key component in the aviation electromechanical control system,which is prone to failure,and the failure will propagate between the functional units.There are problems of complex and diversified fault propagation paths and uncertainty of fault propagation in IMU.These two problems make it difficult to describe the fault propagation process in IMU.In response to these problems,based on the analysis of the failure propagation mechanism of a certain type of IMU,a model construction method that combines the multi-signal flow graph and the failure diffusion intensity function is proposed,and a multi signal flow model based on fault diffusion intensity function is established by using the self-developed software.Finally,the accuracy of the model is verified by experiments.The research results show that the fault propagation model constructed by the self-developed software can effectively solve the problem that the fault propagation process is difficult to describe in the IMU,and lay a theoretical foundation for ensuring aviation safety.
