W 波段宽带正交模转换器研制

摘    要:为满足W波段双通道接收系统的需要,实现将天线接收到的线极化或圆极化电磁波分离出正交的垂直极化和水平极化电磁波,研制出了工作频带宽、性能优、结构简单、适合大批量生产的波导正交模转换器(OMT)。在80~102GHz频带内,即相对于中心频率91GHz的24%频带内,测得水平极化传输损耗典型值为0.8dB、垂直极化传输损耗典型值为0.4dB;各端口回波损耗优于15dB;隔离度典型值为21dB。

Abstract:The design, construction and performance of a waveguide Orthomode Transducer (OMT) for W band dual channel receiver are described. The OMT is developed to split linear polarization or circular polarization signals into two op posite signals, i. e. horizontal polarization and vertical polarization signals. It has the characteristic of broadband, high per formance, simple and easy for mass production. In the frequency band 80 ~102GHz, which is 24% bandwidth to the center frequency of 91 GHz, the typical transmission loss measured is 0. 8dB and 0. 4dB for horizontal polarization and vertical po larization respectively, port reflection loss is higher than 15dB and isolation is better than 21dB.
