语境顺应理论视角下亲属称谓语的泛化翻译研究

泛化现象共存于汉、英亲属称谓系统中,蕴涵着不同的文化习俗。通过比较汉英称谓语泛化的异同,从跨文化的角度出发,运用语境顺应理论的框架下分析语境对泛化了的亲属称谓翻译的制约,并探讨在翻译过程中译者如何顺应语言语境和交际语境以使译文最大化体现原语言的深刻文化和社会内涵。

A Study on Translation of Extended Kinship Terms under the Framework of Context Adaptability Theory

The extensive use of kinship terms exists in both Chinese and English address system which reflects different cultural practices. By comparing the similarities and differences between extensive use of kinship terms, restriction of translating the extensive use of the kinship terms have been explored under the framework of context adaptability theory from the aspect of cross-cultural perspective, and discusses how the translator in the translating process comply with language context and social context in order to maximize the profound cultural and social connotations of the original language.
