称呼语在人们的日常交往中起着非常重要的作用,它常是传递给对方的第一个信息。发话者可以通过称呼语的选择来引起受话者注意和保持与受话者之间的联系,对于日常交际和人际关系有着重要的影响。得体地使用称呼语是交际能力中很重要的一个方面。因此,对称呼语的研究具有重要的实践意义。文章尝试以Verschueren(1999)的语言顺应论为理论框架来阐释称呼语的正确选用,以期对此语言现象的进一步研究有所贡献。

The Application of Adaptation Theory in the Choice of, Address Terms

The use of address terms plays an important role in daily communication, which is the first message conveyed to the addressee. The address terms can serve to attract the attention of the addressee and establish the relationship between the addressor and the addressee. The proper use of address terms is an important part in successful communication. As a result, a study of the address terms is of practical significance. This paper makes a tentative study of the application of Versehueren＇ s Addaptation Theory in the process of choosing address terms in hope of making some contribution to the research of these linguistic phenomena.
