行走在建筑师与艺术家之间--艺术展作品四则

从建筑一开始,就注定了建筑师应具备的双重身份——艺术家和营造师。这双重身份始终贯穿建筑设计实现过程中的不同阶段。建筑实践的先锋性和实验性需要建筑师在建筑想像和现实的平衡之间找到可以突破的可能性。在当下的中国,为了随时应付无备而来又要随即出手的项目,希望有一种更加有效、更加短暂的训练方法使建筑师在这一过程中维系建筑想像力。参与艺术展即是其中一种。

Walking between Architects and Artists--Four Works in the Art Exhibition

Architects are destined to be both the artist and the builder from the beginning of building. This double-identity is all along with the architecture design progress in different periods. Architects need to find possibilities for the avant-garde and experimental architecture practice in the balance of their imagination and reality. Nowadays in China, more efficient training methods are expected to ensure architects keep their imagination in the process of carrying out a project immediately without preparation. Being concerned in arts exhibition is one of the methods.
