Abstract:Tribasic lead sulphate(3BS),tetrabasic lead sulphate(4BS) and 4BS-barium lead oxide(BaPbO3) additives were prepared by the method of sintering with the scraps from the production of lead-acid battery involved the scrap lead paste,the reclaimed lead powder and the scrap pole plates.The method was simple and effective,all of the contents of additives were more than 94%,the additives could be used in the production of lead paste directly.Compared with common lead-acid battery,the capacity of lead-acid battery using prepared 3BS,4BS and 4BS-BaPbO3 additives was 98.4%,103.2% and 104.8%,respectively,the heavy load ability increased 0.5%,0.5% and 2.0%,respectively,the cycle life prolonged 54 cycles,50 cycles and 5 cycles,respectively.
