Research on Compound Control Strategy for Dynamic Voltage Restorer

The three control methods that are usually applied in dynamic voltage restorer(DVR) are fully analyzed in this paper,and advantages and weak of three control methods are pointed out.Mathematical model of DVR is given.Based on this model,the improved compound control strategy is proposed.The current-and the voltage-regulator parameters of the compound control method are tuned,and the dynamic-and the steady-performance are analyzed.Compensating performances of DVR have been analyzed comparably.Experimental results show that the proposed control strategy has gotten grid of disadvantages of the compound control strategy based on inter loop of capacitor’s current feedback control,and the steady state-and dynamic-performance and adaptability of the proposed control strategy are more excellent than those of forward-feed control method.
