| Abstract: | Edge detecting is an indispensable step of computer vision. It is a important procedure of image preprocessing technology.This paper chiefly reviewed the edge detection development of image processing,discussed the characteristic of some typical edge detection algorithms,and analyzed their mechanism of some edge detecting algorithms and merits .Finally, it reviewed the newest trends and measures of developing edge detecting technology. |
