摘    要:网络驱动的开发是基于VxWorks的嵌入式应用的重要组成部分;VxWorks提供了多路复用层(MUX)接口来实现增强型网络驱动(END)的开发,具有协议无关性特点,可使开发人员专注于驱动程序的开发而无需考虑上层协议的内容,利用这种方法对RTL8139网卡的END开发进行了研究;首先阐述了END的数据结构和接口函数,然后着重分析了BSP中相关文件的配置,最后对驱动的加载启动过程及数据包的存储收发过程作了介绍;对于VxWorks下基于MUX机制的其它网卡驱动的开发具有参考价值。

Abstract:Networks driver development is an important part of embedded applications based on VxWorks.VxWorks provide multiplexer(MUX) layer interface to achieve the development of enhanced networks driver(END).This mechanism enable the developers to focus on driver development without considering the contents of the protocol.Take the RTL8139 network card for example,First,describe the data structure and the interface functions of END.Then focus on the configuration of relevant documents in BSP.The loading and the starting process of the driver,the storage structure and the transceiver process of the data packets were introduced finally.It has reference value for driver development of other network devices which are based on VxWorks MUX mechanism.
