Abstract:The process to manufacture polymerized ferric sulfate was analyzed in this work.The reaction mechanism from ferrous sulphate to polymerized ferric sulphate was discussed in detail under acidic conditions and by oxidation,hydrolysis and polymerization reactions,which provided a theoretical background to optimize reaction conditions and to improve preduct quality(ie,alkalization degree) of the polymerized ferric sulphate.
