Abstract:An investigation has been made into the characteristic feature of the fine size materials at the Panzhihua Titanium Concentration Plant. Production steps involving water-sealed cyclone thickening, tailings disposal by high gradient magnetic separation and floatation of sulphur and titanium compound are introduced. The process flow regarding recovery of fine size ilmenite is proposed.
