| Abstract: | Polyacrylate emulsion thickening agent was synthesized by emulsion polymerization with several acrylate monomers. The synthesis technique for it was introduced briefly. The factors such as initiator, crosslinking agent, monomer, emulsifier, reaction temperature, reaction time, feeding rate and so on influencing on the thickening property and emulsion stability were discussed. Application of the emulsion was introduced in brief also. |
