Abstract:A green PFC converter employing APFC technique is proposed,with high power factor,high efficiency,and low noise.Experimental results of the designed 1700 W APFC converter prototype show that the input current tracks the input voltage well with input between 165 V AC to 275 V AC,the power factor achieves 0.996,the efficiency is 96.8%,the output voltage is stabilized.The PFC converter is reliable,cost-saving.It is fit for use in high-power switch mode power supply.
