基于晶闸管的STATCOM原理和实现

摘    要:
通过对静止同步补偿器(STATCOM)换流过程的分析,提出当STATCOM工作角度超前于系统电压时,可以用晶闸管代替可关断器件,实现可吸收无功功率的基于晶闸管的STATCOM。文中构建了12脉晶闸管STATCOM样机装置,并设计了基于现场可编程逻辑器件和数字信号处理器的数字控制器,以提供高精度晶闸管触发脉冲,满足样机装置触发要求。样机实验验证了晶闸管STATCOM的可行性,实验结果表明,基于晶闸管的STATCOM在其工作范围内能吸收连续可调无功功率,装置工作电流谐波小,具备了普通STATCOM装置的优点,可用于电力系统无功补偿领域。

Abstract:
The commuting sequence of ordinary STATCOM is analyzed in this paper, which shows that when a STATCOM inputs reactive power, its turn-off devices can be replaced by thyristors. A prototype of such thyristor based STATCOM is built, including a digital controller based on FPGA and DSP which can provide high-precision firing pulses for thyristors, Experimental results show that the thyristor based STATCOM can input reactive power by adjusting its fire angle and has same characteristics as ordinary STATCOM within its operating range, Hence it can be used for static var compensation in power systems.
