Study on the Hazards of Breather Abnormality and Its Preventive Measures

As various abnormalities occurred in the operation of the transformer breather and brought much hazards,this paper,in light of a case analysis,emphasizes the importance of routine maintenance of breather,and accordingly puts forward measures to prevent the generator transformer outage caused by abnormalities,such as breather blockage and serious color change of silicon rubber, which would improve the stability of generator transformer.
