Statistical modeling of the residual life of an oil and gas pipeline with axial crack-like defects

According to the deterministic formula using the statistical modeling method, the remaining life distribution and indices of the oil and gas pipeline reliability are found when the characteristics of the strength, stress and the dimensions of the defects in the axial and radial directions are subject to the normal law. As a result, the safe service life limits of the diagnosed oil and gas pipelines were established.
