| Abstract: | The optimal design for new quick-open manhole was analyzed by the method of finite element. According to the deformation of O-ring seals under different pretension force, and the stress values of the component, the device was controlled with relevant sizes to achieve optimal design. Using the design, material can be saved, weight can be lightened, and operation becomes convenience. It also has obvious economy benefit. |
