| Abstract: | Based on the definition of text, the newly - modified syllabus and standards for English course of Senior Middle School, as well as the analyses for the present situation of English teaching and learning, the author of this paper analyses the necessity of text teaching and learning,and gives a model of it by Labov' s narrative pattern. |
