摘    要:阐述了广域实时动态监测系统对电力系统安全稳定运行的重要性,介绍了该系统在国内外的工程应用情况,概述了子站、主站和通信系统的结构及功能,探讨了广域动态监测系统面临的问题,展望了广域动态监测系统的发展方向和在电力系统中进一步的应用前景.

Abstract:The importance of Wide Area Measurement System(WAMS)to the safe and stable operation of power sys- tems is illuminated,and applications of WAMS to engineering projects both abroad and at home are presented.The structure and functions of the sub-station,the master station,and the communication system are summarized,and problems facing WAMS are discussed.The development direction of WAMS and its further application to power sys- tems are prospected.
