Ultrafast Computed Tomograghy and its Application in Cardiovascular System

This paper outlines the basic concepts of Ultrafast Computed Tomography and its imaging mechanism, and their application in cardio-vascular system. UFCT is a hi-sensitive and hi-specific procedure easy to conduct for detecting coronary arterial calcification, thus can be widely used for predicting and early diagnosing coronary arteries diseases. Prediction of conory arteries diseases by their calcificatiou is less sensitive but more specific for younger age group compared with elder one. UFCT is a hisensitive and noninvasive method for evaluating and analysing earlier morphological findings of myocardnd ischemia and quantitative assesment of CT values, thus is a very prondsing methed and won the fame as a god standard.
