| Abstract: | This paper reviews the developing history and latest progress of the water soluble polymers for cooling water treatment and studies the relationship between structure and properties. The multifunctional properties of corrosion and scale inhibition of phosphono carboxylic acid, the polymer combining of phosphono group and oligmer or analogues are emphasized. |
