Abstract:For the fairness of optical open access networks,after applying the max-min fair algorithm in the dual-service level agreement algorithm,an ethernet passive optical network(EPON)-based D-SLA fair bandwidth allocation algorithm is proposed,which is easy to implement.This algorithm uses the two-round allocation.By level classification,the primary SLA and the second SLA are confirmed.And then the service providers(SPs) and users are treated in different levels to satisfy the mutual fairness request at the same time.The simulation results are given to prove that this algorithm reaches the expected goal and is feasible to satisfy the fairness request for both SPs and users.Evaluating the fairness by fair parameter,this algorithm is superior to the others.Meanwhile,it′s reasonable and practical in applications.
