摘    要:本文介绍了采用Doherty结构来设计高效率功率放大器。载波放大器和峰值放大器分别工作在AB类和C类状态。首先用ADS进行单管AB类和C类功放仿真设计,然后选择合适的延迟线来完成Doherty的整体设计,最终仿真结果显示Doherty功放在功率回退6db的情况下(43dbm),其PAE达到了51%。

Abstract:In this paper, the authors design the high efficiency power amplifier by adopting Doherty structure. The carrier ampli- fier and peak amplifier are working at the statuses of AB class and C class respectively. First, the simulation designs for power ampli- tiers of single tube AB class and C class are implemented by using ADS, and then the overall design of Doherty is completed by choosing appropriate delay line, and finally, the simulation result shows that the PAE of Doherty power amplifier reached at 51% un- der the condition of its Output Power Backoff at 6db(Output Power 43dbm).
