ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF A COMPUTER AIDED NETWORK PLANNING SYSTEM

The steps of computer network planning was analyzed in this paper. It is pointed out that the essence of computer network planning is a procedure of intelligent decision support. A practicable framework is deduced to aid computer network planning on the base of traditional structure of IDSS. The crux of realizing the system is consistence and integration of information. There is possibility of consistency of information and a mechanism called bridge-of-bases is put forward to integrating information.
