Optimization Design of Transportation Batch and Tank Capacity for Products Pipeline

With the construction and development of Chinese product oil pipeline, in the transportation process, the circulation batch and the tank capacity become the most important factors to effect total investment. In the product oil conveying process, the treatment of mixing oil is an important link. The paper expounds the advantages and disadvantages of two different treatments of mixing oil in the batch transportation process of product oil. The paper introduces main conditions and task of oil transportation of the product oil pipeline, and uses economic analysis to establish a mathematical model and determines the optimal batch and tank capacity of the product oil pipeline.
